JULIE PATRICK
ACUPUNCTURIST

SCIENCE + ANCIENT WISDOM
Julie is a Registered Acupuncturist whose life path has woven together science, lived experience, and the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine into a deeply integrative, heart-centered practice. Her journey has taken her from the precise world of nutrition and nautical science to the inner landscapes of yoga, meditation, motherhood, and energetic healing. These threads form the foundation of the presence she brings into the treatment space—steady, intuitive, compassionate, and attuned to the deeper layers of the human experience.
Julie’s work is rooted in the belief that the body holds its own intelligence, and that healing unfolds when we create space for the nervous system, emotions, and subtle energies to return to harmony. Her studies in physiology, embryology, and applied kinesiology merges seamlessly with the spiritual depth of Chinese Medicine—where Qi, the elements, and the meridians become a language for understanding the mind-body connection. Julie bridges science and tradition with reverence, helping clients reconnect to their natural capacity for regulation, balance, and self-healing.
Outside the clinic, Julie lives in devotion to movement, play, and embodied joy. She teaches and performs aerial silks and rope, climbs rocks, tends to her garden, and shares life with her family in the mountains of Squamish. Her creativity and love of the body infuse every aspect of her practice.
ACUPUNCTURE
Julie's treatments blend acupuncture with cupping, gua sha, tuina massage, and supportive lifestyle guidance. Each session becomes a ceremony of reconnection—an opportunity to soften tension, unwind long-held patterns, meet emotional layers with compassion, and return home to oneself. Julie works with a wide spectrum of concerns, including pain, hormone balance, fertility, digestion, immune function, and stress-related imbalance.
Scar + Myofascial Healing
Scar tissue carries memory—physical, emotional, and energetic. Julie works with gentle, specialized techniques to release adhesions and restore the natural glide of tissue and fascia. This work often unlocks tension patterns that have been held far from the original scar, supporting deeper integration, mobility, and freedom. She also incorporates advanced myofascial acupuncture techniques and therapeutic cupping to harmonize structural imbalances and relieve chronic or persistent pain.
Lymphatic Drainage + Systemic Renewal
Julie offers full-body lymphatic drainage using a gentle cupping-based method designed to flush stagnation, support detoxification, and revitalize the tissues. This work benefits everyone—especially athletes, those experiencing chronic fatigue, or anyone seeking clearer connection to their vitality.

ACUPUNCTURES STYLES
Motherhood + Women’s Health
Julie’s own initiation into motherhood has profoundly shaped her practice. She honors the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. Her approach supports the nervous system, balances hormones, eases discomfort, and helps mothers ground into their innate wisdom. She offers postpartum home visits, recognizing the sacred nature of the first 40 days and the importance of warmth, nourishment, rest, and emotional support during this transformative time.
Integration + Psycho-Spiritual Support
Acupuncture can be a powerful ally during times of transition, emotional processing, or integration after ceremony or deep introspective work. Julie holds space with grounded presence, helping the body regulate and settle so that insights and experiences can root more deeply into daily life.
Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture
Blending Korean, Japanese, and classical TCM techniques, Julie works with the face as a reflection of inner balance. These treatments gently stimulate collagen, soften tension, brighten vitality, and support the overall harmony of the body-mind system.
